Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

Execute Quality Control Microbiology Analyst duties, including environmental monitoring, sample collection, and laboratory support functions.Maintain laboratory supplies and utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample and test result tracking.Prepare and submit laboratory investigation reports, and conduct peer reviews of data.Support and monitor analytical team performance, including participation in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.Adhere to cleanroom protocols and meet physical demands of the role, including overtime and weekend schedule requirements as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum 5 years of Microbiology Laboratory experience2+ years of leadership experienceGMP experience and familiarity with LIMSStrong scientific, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The position is full-time, second shift Mon-Fri, 2 pm-10:30 pm Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York, are encouraged to apply.
