The Psychometrist reports to the Director of Neuropsychology. This position is responsible for basic psychometrist activities, such as administering and scoring neuropsychological tests, using normative tables, maintaining test protocols and test equipment, and keeping track of test forms. The position also includes management responsibilities for the psychometry team. The Psychometrist has extensive interaction with patients, medical staff and other Medical Center personnel.
**Job Description:**
Administers neuropsychological tests following clinical instruction under the direction of a member of the Neuropsychology staff. Scores tests and completes data analysis. Maintains test protocols and test equipment.
**Additional responsibilities include:**
+ Managing the current psychometry team, which includes taking the lead on and delegating responsibilities of test protocol management and training (incoming psychometrists and practicum students) and facilitating psychometry efficiency (e.g., implementing new strategies for the testing/scoring processed to maximize overall efficiency and productivity). This will include a regular meeting with the psychometry team.
+ Manage overall room schedule and psychometrist case assignments, occasionally attended Neuropsychology Staff meetings in order to effectively disperse information to the psychometry team about any changes or modifications.
+ Manage/track the ordering of new neuropsychological measures and test stimuli.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ 1-3 years related work experience required.
+ Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
