TYLin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality Rail + Transit and Roads + Highways design projects or programs. This role offers the chance to work with some of the most respected transportation agencies in the U.S., while growing your leadership profile and mentoring the next generation of engineers. The Opportunity Based in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll work on a dynamic mix of regional and national projects - your influence won’t be limited to one location. You’ll manage and deliver engineering design for key transportation clients such as Sound Transit, WSDOT, King County, Community Transit, BART, Caltrans, Caltrain, MTA, Metra, CTA, SEPTA, WMATA, Amtrak, and various other Agencies and DOTs. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with and lead a talented team of professionals, fostering growth and collaboration, while building strong client relationships in the region. **Responsibilities & Qualifications** **What You’ll Do** + Lead and deliver complex design projects in Rail + Transit and Roads + Highways, from planning to final design. + Serve as the go-to point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and quality. + Mentor and guide a team of junior and mid-level staff, supporting their professional growth. + Collaborate with other senior leaders nationwide to pursue new work and strengthen our market position. + Attend client meetings across the Pacific Northwest, representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm. + Contribute to winning project pursuits through proposal development, strategy, and presentations in the Northwest and Nationwide. **What You Bring** + A degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to attain within 1 year. + Proven track record delivering engineering design projects, programs, or on-calls for major transit and transportation clients. + 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a mix of Rail + Transit and Roads + Highways projects. + Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and motivating teams. + Excellent communication and client relationship skills. + Ability to balance technical delivery with business development and team growth responsibilities. **Why Join Us?** + **Career Growth:** Clear pathways to future sector, regional and national leadership roles. + **Impact:** Work with a team to deliver world class projects that shape regions and improve mobility on a national level. + **Collaboration:** Work alongside some of the industry’s best technical experts and project leaders. + **Culture:** A respectful, supportive, team-first environment where your contributions listened to, valued, and you are given the agency to pursue and deliver. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $130,000 - $210,000 annually for this position and local market.
