Lead Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will\ncoordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration\nand ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project\nprogress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help\nmaintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. You will report\ndirectly to our missiles department and you will work out of our Clearwater,\nFlorida location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring the\nsuccessful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects in the\naerospace industry, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of\ncontinuous improvement and innovation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  \nLead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to\ncompletion
    •  \nDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with\nstakeholders
    •  \nDevelop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and\nresource allocation
    •  \nCoordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project\nsuccess
    •  \nMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and\nquality standards
    •  \nIdentify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
    •  \nProvide technical guidance and support to project team members
    •  \nPrepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
    
YOU MUST HAVE

    •  \nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical\ndiscipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
    •  \nMinimum 6+ years of experience in project management or engineering
    •  \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
    •  \nAbility to lead and manage cross-functional teams
    •  \nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
 

WE VALUE
 
    • \nMaster's degree in Engineering or related field
    •  \nExperience in defense programs or related industry
    •  \nProject management certification (PMP)
    •  \nKnowledge of industry standards and regulations
    •  \nStrong leadership and strategic thinking skills
