Lead Professional, Visual Merchandising GC - Converse
As a Converse VM leader, you will be responsible for leading the VM strategy and execution for retail excellence. You will be the key person to lead the initiative in partnership with MERCH, RM and the Commercial team to drive the VM strategy that is aligned with the marketing AOP. In this role, you will be the pioneer to drive the integration with functions for the pilot project, which will become a sustainable and scalable program for the marketplace. In this role, you are accountable for overseeing all the top-tier stores in China and maintaining them at a premium level for seasonal initiatives. Thus, a close partnership with ACCOUNT and MERCH is critical, and timely feedback/quick responses from all functions are needed to drive execution excellence. You are also expected to participate in China's business review to better understand how to streamline the thinking of product presentation/communication to serve the business needs. **Key Accountabilities:** + Develop and update global VM guidelines, ensuring regional adaptation and compliance. + Lead the VM strategy with the partnership with ACCOUNT/MERCH to drive city top door distinction with the obsession of product seasonally. + Ensure a retail execution excellence with tiered strategy of city top store. + Partner with RM and geo functions to drive flawless seasonal plan with the obsession of consumer journey, product focus, fixture refresh, even service operations etc. + Partner with Retail Operation to continue to drive training program to elevate partners’ capability through some pilot project. + Advise on store design to optimize consumer flow and touchpoints from a VM perspective. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Visual Design, Spatial Design, or Retail Management. + 8+ Years of experience in retail visual merchandising & styling or equivalent combinations. High level sense of art or design is preferred. + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Fluent English (written/spoken for global collaboration). + Hands-on experience in retail environment preferred + Strong team and project management skills and be proactive and confident on team communication/integration. + Strong passion on sport/fashion brand NIKE, Inc. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
