Lead Product Manager - Clinical Strategy

This role offers full ownership across the product lifecycle, from vision and strategy to execution and optimization. As a Lead Product Manager, you will work across multidisciplinary teams including design, engineering, clinical, operations, and strategy to build scalable, member-focused clinical programs. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution, guiding products from initial concept through to measurable outcomes. If you’re passionate about solving complex healthcare challenges and leading high-impact clinical solutions, we’d love to meet you. **Responsibilities** + Lead product vision, strategy, OKRs, roadmap development, and execution across multiple clinical programs + Apply product management best practices including user research, concept testing, opportunity sizing, business case development, training, and de-risking barriers to scale + Prioritize backlog across competing needs while balancing business objectives with customer insights + Collaborate with stakeholders to refine workflows, uncover pain points, and proactively manage risk + Define data requirements in partnership with analytics and technology teams + Use a design-first approach (for example, double diamond) to deeply understand member and provider needs + Translate insights into well-defined business cases and prioritized product requirements + Drive continuous iteration and innovation to increase impact and value + Evaluate and execute on buy, build, or partner decisions using consistent frameworks + Partner with external digital health organizations when applicable + Leverage agile and lean methodologies to test, learn, and scale efficiently + Define success metrics for all lifecycle phases including adoption, satisfaction, and utilization + Serve as a leader on the team by mentoring junior product managers and contributing to broader strategy and culture **Use your skills to make an impact** **Role Essentials** + Bachelor's degree ​ + 7 or more years of product management and/or clinical solutions experience ​ + Strong customer/end user orientation, with a data driven decision making approach ​ + Demonstrated experience utilizing a standardized and effective product management framework including but not limited to: user research and concept testing, opportunity sizing and/or business case development, product blueprints, data and/or technology requirements, and ability to de-risk barriers to scale. + Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization ​ + Exceptional oral and written communications skills, with the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with all organizational levels, including senior and executive level audiences ​ + Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment; be nimble and adaptable, handle ambiguity + Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity + Experience working with external partners to execute a product launch + Ability to drive significant transformation + Solid track record managing products that achieved sucessful financial outcomes + Competence working on very large and most complex assignment **Role Desirables** + Experience in healthcare, care coordination, clinical workflows, clinical programs, or value-based care; direct experience with patients or providers preferred + Experience scaling and commercializing digital health products + Experience working with agile cross-functional scrum teams + Familiarity with healthcare data and standards + Prior people management experience or experience leading cross-functional initiatives **Additional Information** To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: + At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested + Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership + Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. + Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. + Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $126,300 - $173,700 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
