SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is responsible to perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
Must be able to communicate both written and verballyChecking accuracy of production labels.Monitoring the work area at all times.Monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.This will position will require standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the ability to climb ladders. Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs. The position could be performed in a cold, damp, or hot environment and these areas will have slippery surfaces.REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Six (6) months prior poultry experience
Safety: Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with knowledge in Word and Excel
Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are
critical
