Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for product quality of specific production lineNC part review & disposition, generate NC trending and statistical reports Creates a Quality culture by driving quality improvement activities, drive zero defect culture expansion within site.Trace quality issue and improvement plan, lead cross function team to generate containment actions, permanent actions and track sustainability and practicality.Ensures quality control while driving process effectiveness and efficiencyUtilize proven interpersonal skills to communicate with direct colleagues and the business. Provides informal guidance to team members. Concisely explains complex information to others.Operates with some autonomy, activities require professional judgmentUtilizes professional experience, technical skills, and analytical thinking to provide compliance guidance to colleagues and assist with problem resolution. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 5 years' work experience in Quality relate field. Mechanical, EE or other engineering majors.Closed loop quality management mindset.Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and oral)Demonstrated experience and proficiency with MS Office word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications and quality tools.6 sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred.Desired Characteristics
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality related position is preferredStrong data analysis skills, familiar with Quality tools, such as 5-WHY, 8D, MSA, SPC, CP, 6 sigma etc.Strong problem solving skills, exceptional analytical & root-cause analysis skills.Team player, demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skillsExperience leading and implementing changeAbility to multi-task & handle tasks with competing priorities effectivelyStrong technical aptitude (i.e. able to read & comprehend technical documentation & execute procedures).Strong oral and written communication skills.
