Key Responsibilities – Portfolio Strategy for Sleep and Breathing Health

Conduct rigorous financial analysis to assess and model business performance. Examples of analyses include:Market and scenario modeling to assess industry profit poolsP&L scenario modeling incorporating market dynamics and internal growth initiativesPerform competitive and market analysis for key strategic and M&A diligence projects and draw insights and implications for the company. Present findings and recommendations as appropriateIdentify, define, and articulate industry, market, and emerging trends and how they may affect Resmed’s portfolio of products and businessesSize addressable market opportunity and growth potentialEvaluate white space opportunities for possible expansionHelp manage specific strategy initiatives across the company, particularly with the Product team in Sleep and Breathing HealthSupport strategy development across Resmed by working collaboratively with product managers and commercial teamsProvide objective analysis and decision support (investment prioritization and ROI) on product and portfolio positioningFacilitate and support integrated business planning across the enterpriseAct as liaison for relevant strategic initiatives, and help develop and track implementation plans to ensure the right level of focus and discipline

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred5+ years of relevant professional experience, including broad-based experience in FP&A, strategy consulting, corporate strategy and market/financial analysisExcellent critical thinking, project management, analytical, collaboration, communication, presentation skillsNot afraid to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and work with details as well as the big pictureHigh level of intellectual curiosity combined with a ‘results-driven’ mindset and high EQHighly self-motivated with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiativesRelevant healthcare and digital health industry experience preferred

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: 157,000.00 - 196,000.00 USD
