Overview

The Lead Payments Solution Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing UKG OneView payroll payment solutions. Serving our expanding customer base, the successful candidate ensures the seamless integration of UKG OneView with global payment networks.  The lead payment solution consultant is subject matter expert on all matters related to payroll payment processing.      

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the design and delivery of global payments solutions to support UKG OneView customers. Serve as subject matter expert to facilitate workshops with customer payroll, treasury and finance teams.  Design integration frameworks between payroll systems, banks, and payment providers. Ensure scalability, security, and resilience of payment solutions across multiple regions. Contribute to the technical implementation of OneView payroll payment solutions, including APIs, data flows, and automation. Oversee migration projects and onboarding of new countries or payment partners. Ownership of Compliance & Risk Management.  Ensure solutions comply with global and local payroll, tax, and payment regulations. Implement data privacy and security best practices in line with GDPR, CCPA, and other standards. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of payment processes. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Gather and analyze business requirements to align solutions with UKG strategic goals. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in payroll and payments. Identify opportunities for process automation and cost optimization. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex payment issues.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in payroll, payments, or financial systems architecture. Strong understanding of global payroll processes and cross-border payment regulations. Experience with payroll platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), payment gateways, and banking APIs.

 

Preferred Skills

Experience with robotic process automation and workflow optimization Knowledge of multi-currency and multi-country payroll complexities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with diverse teams.
