Lead Payment & Account Validation Services Product Owner

Within Wells Fargo Global Payments & Liquidity, Payables and Receivables is a $1.5B business processing more than 11B transactions annually and requires continual maintenance and updates to ensure the performance and operational standards. Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the modernization of systems, processes and controls that are inherent to these critical applications. The individual is expected to have knowledge of the payment processing lifecycle, modern design methodologies, and client use cases to lead development teams on a multi-year journey encompassing engagements with product, operations, technology & controls.  The final product will build upon the existing transformation work and provide a roadmap to integration with core systems that facilitate efficient processing and reduced cost. In this role, you will:

Lead complex development initiatives managing all activities in a project life cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing that are long-term and cross functional with broad scope, and complexity.Expand an ecosystem payment and account validation services requiring the ability to think strategically and work tactically with technology engineering teams in the development of requirementsDemonstrate understanding of Agile principles and practices to support iterative development and delivery outcomes through scrum methodologyCollaborate closely with product managers, risk and control, technology, and architecture teams to bring capabilities to market and commercializeIdentify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements and business requirements

Required Qualifications, US:

5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Direct payments & treasury management experience, including experience with ACH, Real Time Payments, Zelle, cards, and cross-border transactionsProven track record of delivering products and services to marketProject management experience including use of Agile methodologyStrong analytical ability used to identify risks, confidently raise issues, and escalate appropriatelyStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior executivesHighly motivated with an organized work style and the ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
