Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls is seeking a creative and innovative Lead Pastry Cook to support the hotel’s culinary offerings. A Pastry Cook is responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production and quality control of all bread, pastry, and dessert items.

The ideal candidate will have:
\n\nA minimum of 2 years pastry experience within a high volume kitchen/bakery working with cakes, breads, and various pastries. \nWeekend availability and ability to varied shifts as needed is a must. Previous hotel or resort experience is a plus! \nBe responsible for ensuring high-quality production. \n\nWhat will I be doing?
\n\nParticipates in pastry production. \nCreates/prepares/produces/bakes breads, rolls, breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes for restaurants and banquets.\nDecorates pastries/cakes with creativity and skill. \nMaintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage. \nEnsures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.\nTrains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating staff\nWhat are we looking for?
