The Station Manager/ Lead is responsible for a team of approximately 10 aircraft mechanics (CAT A – CAT B1, CAT B2, EAT contractors) who perform all line maintenance on the EAT/DHL fleet and for the contracted fleets at Frankfurt Airport (FRA). The responsibilities include both the organization of maintenance work and personnel management, as well as the planning and organization of the station's material resources.
\n\nManage and complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on time in collaboration with the respective operator, EAT LEJ MOC, Aerologic MOC troubleshooters, and work preparation/planning.\nContinuously monitor work progress, prioritize, and make corrective interventions.\nOrganize AOG (Aircraft on Ground) processing in collaboration with the respective operator MOC and troubleshooting department.\nLead and provide technical guidance to employees regarding compliance with MOE / CAME / TC Holder documents / Engineering Technical Circular / CTL.\nConduct employee, probationary, and AMPA discussions, and set deadlines for agreed-upon goals.\nServe as a contact person for technical and personnel issues of employees and for contracted personnel.\nAct as a contact person for DHL Express FRA.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable legal and operational regulations and guidelines.\nEnsure effective and economical use of personnel (holiday and training planning), operating resources, and all supporting functions.\nTake measures in case of disruptions to the infrastructure and equipment at the station.\nUndertake special tasks, such as specific projects.\nAct as a contact person for problems, audits, and safety inquiries.\nLead and/or support optimization and digitization projects.\nImplement the CIS/CIM philosophy and provide team coaching.\nYOUR PROFILE\n\n\nAbility to remain effective and calm while making the right decisions immediately in stressful situations.\nAbility to multitask and maintain priorities.\nAbility to solve complex technical problems within a limited timeframe.\nStrong organizational skills.\nGood communication skills and ability to establish contacts.\nLeadership experience.\nWillingness to work shifts and weekends, as well as provide support in AOG situations during days off.\nWillingness to travel for training purposes.\nCompleted degree and several years of relevant professional experience or extensive relevant professional experience.\nHolder of a valid Part-66 Cat B1 or Cat B2 license for aircraft maintenance.\nAt least one company-specific type rating.\nEAT experience, including leadership roles and experience at external stations, is desirable.\nVery good German and English language skills.\nGood knowledge of MS Office applications.\n\n\nOUR OFFER\n\n
