As a Lead Operation Specialist, you will manage chemical programs at offshore facilities in the Gulf of America relating to inventory tracking, order management, rate adjustments, and reporting. You'll be tasked with troubleshooting and repairing chemical pumps as needed and developing & nurturing strong customer relationships. Additionally, you'll present value opportunities to Baker Hughes leadership team and consistently communicate across direct organization.

** 14/14 offshore rotation required

 

As a Lead Operation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Managing and overseeing all aspects of production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to our customers

Providing on-site technical guidance on pump skids and chemical injection points

Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing of chemical treatment programs to provide support to the production operations group

Building & maintaining strong relationships with customers, clients, and other stakeholders

Collaborating with Baker Hughes leadership and account coordinator to maintain consistent communication stream

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a high school diploma

Have at least 5 years of experience in Upstream Production Chemicals Application & Operations

Have knowledge in process optimization and production chemistry.

Has onshore / offshore operation experience.

Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions

Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office

Have client and team management experience
