About the Role

To support the Head of Compliance to ensure that AIA operates in accordance to the AIA Group policies and guidelines and local regulatory requirements in the following areas and towards this end, driving and overseeing implementation of compliance frameworks.

Drafting / reviewing and maintaining on an ongoing basis, local policies andguidelines and Risk Assessment matrix to ensure compliance with higher of the AIA Group requirements or local regulatory requirements.Perform regulatory compliance work such as guidelines interpretation, advise and review of business initiatives to identify regulatory breaches or ineffective controls for AIA in respect of OJK guidelinesLiaising with relevant business/operational functions to embed Group and local regulatory requirements in the business procedures and facilitating design & implementation of operational controls.Developing robust procedures for staff and external sales force to raise Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR) when they encounter suspicious transactions.Developing training plans and training material to ensure adequate awareness programs for staff and external sales force in line with Group and local regulatory requirements.Perform ongoing review and monitoring for Compliance Programmed to ensure programmers are effectively implemented and ensure that the programmers are robust and flexible in accordance to the changing demand of the Business Units and marketplace.Implement compliance reviews to assess the strength of mitigating controls.Conduct sample checks / reviews as part of the compliance review program to provide assurance over controls and risk mitigation measures.Implement AIA Group policies training and monitoring work to ensure group policy compliance, e.g. AML/CFT Policy, Economic Sanctions, FATCA, and Anti-Corruption.Work with Business Unit Heads to embed training on regulatory compliance risk subjects within Compliance Training framework / curriculum. Monitor implementation of an effective compliance training curriculum.Conduct compliance training and communicating compliance obligations to embed a culture of compliance and ethics within AIA Financial.
