Job Description As an Occupancy Specialist, I am proficient in insurance policy administration, including explaining coverage options, processing policy changes, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple states. I excel in customer service and call center operations, managing high call volumes while maintaining service quality and resolving inquiries efficiently. I have experience analyzing claims and benefits questions to provide accurate information and effective solutions to customers and providers. Additionally, I have led training initiatives by conducting classroom and virtual sessions, developing materials, and supporting employee onboarding. My skills extend to coordinating vendor and dispatch services, maintaining detailed records and communication with third-party providers. I am adept at using CRM and data management systems to document and update customer interactions accurately. With strong communication, sales, compliance knowledge, and problem-solving abilities, I consistently deliver customer-focused solutions and contribute to operational excellence.
Responsibilities • Greet and assist incoming residents and potential clients with the completion of all necessary application documentation. • Respond promptly to inquiries from applicants, residents, landlords, and community organizations, providing accurate information and directing as appropriate. • Review and process applications from prospective residents, conduct interviews, verify submitted information, and determine eligibility for housing programs. • Maintain organized filing systems and clerical procedures for applications, certifications, and interim reports; ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry and retrieval. • Verify resident and applicant information including family composition, income, assets, and medical expenses during initial applications and annual interviews; perform criminal and credit checks to confirm eligibility. • Manage resident recertifications by preparing documentation, scheduling appointments, and conducting annual interviews and interim rent determinations. • Calculate rent adjustments including retroactive increases or credits, ensure rent charges are accurate, and communicate relevant documentation to residents and landlords. • Investigate potential fraud cases, review case files during the hearing process, and make initial determinations regarding the need for hearings. • Issue cancellation notices to applicants, tenants, and landlords; process cancellations and withdrawals efficiently using computerized systems.
Qualifications and Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required • Must be able to pass a drug screening test • Must have a minimum of 3 years of leasing required
