Key Responsibilities:

Engage in research and development of STATCOM and SVC solutions.Design and validate innovative control system features and algorithms.Collaborate closely with Control Software Engineering teams in Tampere and globally.Participate in technical negotiations with end customers and stakeholders.Support equipment sourcing and technical tendering processes.Contribute to patents and scientific publications.

Qualifications:

MSc (or higher) in Power/Control System Engineering or equivalent.Specialized knowledge in Electrical Power Engineering and control system design.Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSCAD, Matlab Simulink, RTDS, or PSSE.Fluent in English and Finnish; additional language skills are advantageous.
