This full-time opportunity offers a unique schedule of three 13-hour shifts, with a rotating mix of daylight and evening hours between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM, including every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities:
+ Performs all job responsibilities of a Level II MRI Advanced Technologist, including maintaining MRI safety standards, ensuring proper patient identification, contrast administration, and adherence to imaging protocols. Accurately presents relevant information to physicians and updates/documentation in Rad Assessment.
+ Leads orientation and training for new hires, students, and other medical personnel; ensures timely completion of competencies and provides remediation to technologists as needed.
+ Assists in quality assurance projects and contributes to the development and refinement of exam protocols in collaboration with or in place of the Advanced Level II MRI Technologist, sharing outcomes with departmental leadership.
+ Coordinates the daily workflow and staffing schedule to meet patient care needs, including adjustments for call-offs, vacations, patient volume, and training demands.
+ Serves as the department’s leadership point of contact in the absence of the supervisor.
+ Participates in the hiring process by assisting with interviews and providing feedback for performance evaluations of MRI Technologist candidates.
+ Completion of formal training in MRI-related program accredited by the ARRT or ARMRIT or CNMT program or accredited ARDMS program.
+ 3 years MRI experience required.
+ Performance review consistent with minimum of strong/ Solid performance on last performance review required. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ ARRT or ARMRIT MR Certified required.
+ CPR or BLS Required.
+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
+ If working in a NY facility, you must have received certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and be Licensed through the New York State Department of Health.
+ ARRT Certificate OR ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
