We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As a LEAD MRI Technologist you will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department. Our team is considered a “family” who works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do. + You will, under the direction of a physician, perform MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examinations to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge. + You will be expected to perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision, and the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. + You will be responsible for advanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment, examinations and working with students, staff teaching MRI technology. + You will be responsible for the assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed. **What qualifications you will need:** + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date + (ARRT-R) Radiography + Vocational School Graduate HCA Healthcare's Alaska Regional Hospital (https://alaskaregional.com/) is known for our expertise, compassion and skills.
