Lead Motion Designer, Visual Design, Devices & Services
Amazon.com
Amazon’s Devices & Services Design team has launched revolutionary products like Echo, Fire TV, and Alexa. Are you interested in joining the team that shapes the future of Amazon’s most ambitious products?
We’re looking for a visionary Lead Motion Designer to join our Alexa experience design team. In this role, you’ll create cinematic, high-fidelity motion content that unites hardware, software, and services into clear, compelling narratives. Your work will focus on shaping product vision — enabling large cross-functional teams to see the future more clearly and align around it. In addition, you’ll support UX and hardware teams by contributing motion design that enhances usability, clarifies intent, and shows how digital and physical experiences work together seamlessly to create the best outcomes for customers.
You’ll use tools like Cinema 4D, Houdini, and AI-driven workflows to visualize early concepts and future-state experiences. You’ll partner with design, engineering, and product leaders to tell emotionally resonant, visually stunning stories that clarify direction and inspire action — whether for internal buy-in or external launch.
This is a role for someone who thinks in film, has a designer’s eye, and understands how motion drives understanding. If you can translate complex ideas into elegant visual narratives that influence high-stakes decisions, we’d love to meet you.
This role is based in Seattle, WA.
