As a Lead Medical Assistant, you’ll support both patients and providers by preparing for office visits, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring accurate documentation. You’ll also help coordinate communication, prioritize tasks, and promote a positive, efficient care environment.

What You’ll Do

Prepare exam and treatment rooms and ensure patients are ready for exams or minor procedures

Escort patients, obtain medical history, and document vital signs and relevant information in the EMR

Serve as a scribe during exams, accurately recording provider-patient interactions

Process lab and diagnostic results, ensuring timely review and documentation

Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with front desk staff to maintain efficiency

Assist with scheduling, phone calls, and administrative support as needed

Promote quality care through attention to detail and patient-centered service

What You Bring

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a clinical setting (required)

Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting; National Certification a plus

Strong communication, multitasking, and leadership skills

A commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent patient care
