Lead Material Handler

How will you make an impact?

The Lead Material Handler position is responsible for leading the Cell Therapy cGMP warehouse in support of process development, clinical and commercial production. The incumbent is required to perform and document daily warehouse operations in a cGMP environment and ensure materials are received, stored, shipped and transacted in accordance with established procedures. The Warehouse Material Lead will assign work, schedule, develop, and train staff.

What will you do?

Lead day-to-day activities of employees. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues.Must be proficient in the use of the inventory management system (SAP) and execute real time transactions such as material reservations, inventory reporting, inventory reconciliation/investigations, order shipping confirmations and cycle counting.Must have access to the company’s quality management system to initiate deviations, CAPAs and document revisions. Must work effectively with cross functional departments to complete investigations if necessary.Promote a culture that strives toward continuous improvement in Environmental, Health and SafetyKnowledge, Skill, and Requirements:Resolve and manages technical or tactical operations/problems and provide continuous feedback to the team.Valid driver’s license requiredExcellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsKnowledge of cold chain custody procedures and processes.Extensive exposure to cGMP environment.

Audit experience.

Willing to be responsible and accountable for any success or failureStrong interpersonal and communications skills; written and oral.Capable of resolving differences without conflict.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $23.72–$35.58.
