Work just 15 days a Month with a Rotating Schedule!!!

(Bi-weekly Schedule: work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday, Saturday & Sunday, off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday & Thursday, off Friday Saturday & Sunday then the schedule starts over)

 

Operate stretch blow molding machines and lift equipment, inspect and pack rigid-plastic PET containers, and perform scheduled charting and inspections on machines and associated equipment.Start and stop stretch blow molding machines to produce quality, rigid-plastic containers.Perform routine inspections, cleaning & lubricating and/or tightening of machine assembles.Perform container inspections using test equipment, statistical quality methods & visual inspection techniques.Pack containers into boxes/cartons at designated production-line speeds according to specifications & stack packed cartons to build 4 ft. high units.Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.Perform as a responsible team member to maintain a clean, safe, and effective work environment.Operate stretch blow molding machines, pull seepage, apply SPC methodologies for initiating machine adjustments, change materials, assist in changeovers and identify start and stop of out-of-spec production (held ware).Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.
Responsible for adhering to Food Safety Compliance. Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and provides clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.Supports and investigates situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk.Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws.Complete daily attendance rosterDelegate daily work assignments Schedule breaks and assist in relieving operators Monitor production schedule for upcoming machine/order changes Verify raw materials are in the facility before needed Verify completion of production paperwork before submitted Schedule overtime when necessary using seniority as a toolManage employees and administer disciplinary actions when necessaryEnter production and downtime accurately in WebEff databaseAct as representative for supervisor in their absenceFollow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.Actively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving prioritized corrective and preventive actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health or safety risks.Lead all required meetings with safety (i.e. Pre-shift, Department, Change Management, General communication, Town Hall, etc.Completes incident investigations, root cause analysis and implements corrective actions accordingly in a timely and thorough manner.Ensures the proper training and development of all assigned employees for whom they are responsible.Sets goals for their organizational unit; achieves goals and ensures that all employees understand and work toward achieving goals.Motivates and coaches employees through good communication and frequent performance feedback.  Identifies and coordinates additional training as needed Additional Info
