Emerson’s Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team is seeking an energetic and innovative Manufacturing Cyber Security Lead to lead the governance program over manufacturing cybersecurity (IT/OT security) for Emerson’s diverse manufacturing operations. This individual will have the responsibility to work with Emerson’s manufacturing sites, Digital Transformation team, and the Cybersecurity group to design, build and deliver a Manufacturing Security & Governance Program. The Manufacturing Cyber Security Lead will work to strengthen the cyber maturity of our IT/OT environments, providing a risk-based approach to cybersecurity and acting as the GRC liaison in the manufacturing security space.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Perform analysis and risk assessments of current state of IT//OT manufacturing security across Emerson’s manufacturing sites Craft a manufacturing security governance program to supervise the assessment, compliance and continued maturity of the manufacturing cyber security at Emerson Conduct site risk assessment through the use of threat modelling frameworks Develop IT/OT cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines Develop IT/OT cybersecurity strategies that are specifically crafted with asset and operational requirements in mind to protect critical processes without negatively impacting efficiency, productivity, and safety Develop and implement IT/OT cybersecurity training and awareness programs in coordination with our Cybersecurity Awareness team Develop cybersecurity technology implementation strategies for IT/OT environments with clear understanding of the differences between IT and IT/OT Defining, collecting and managing metrics to help manage and measure the efficiency of the manufacturing security programWHO YOU ARE: You identify and seize new opportunities, You follow through on commitments and make sure others do the same, You build collaboration allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
BS degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, automation or a related field 4+ years of experience working in cybersecurity and/or manufacturing security (or other related roles) Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment is mandatory. Knowledge of industrial control systems security standards (e.g., IEC 62443) Able to work successfully in cross-functional teams, especially across organizational and geographical boundaries Ability to consistently complete tight deadlines with incomplete or ambiguous information in constantly evolving environments Enjoy working within a dynamic and continuously evolving environment Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
