We are looking for a skilled Systems Architect to join our\ninnovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing\nand implementing robust and scalable architecture for our systems, ensuring\nalignment with our business goals and technology strategy. The ideal candidate\nwill possess a deep understanding of software and hardware integration,\napplication architecture, and cloud computing. This role with report to\nEnterprise Architecture Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture\n Design:
Develop\n and maintain system architecture designs that meet the functional and\n non-functional requirements of the organization.Create\n detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, models, and\n specifications, to facilitate understanding and implementation.Ensure\n that system architectures are scalable, secure, and compliant with\n industry standards and regulatory requirements.Collaboration\n with Stakeholders:Collaborate\n with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify\n system requirements and design suitable solutions.Serve\n as a technical liaison between IT teams and business units, translating\n business needs into technical specifications.Conduct\n architecture review meetings to solicit feedback and ensure alignment\n across teams.Technology\n Evaluation and Selection:Research\n emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend suitable\n technologies that align with business goals.Evaluate\n and select software and hardware components, tools, and platforms\n necessary for system architecture.Analyze\n existing systems to identify enhancements and recommend modifications for\n improved performance and efficiency.Implementation\n Oversight:
Provide\n guidance and oversight during the implementation of systems architecture\n to ensure adherence to design specifications.Collaborate\n with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve architectural issues\n during the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Conduct\n regular reviews of deployed systems to assess their performance and\n ensure compliance with architectural standards.Quality\n Assurance and Optimization:
Establish\n architectural standards and best practices to ensure quality and\n consistency in system design and implementation.Monitor\n system performance and make recommendations for improvements, including\n system upgrades and enhancements.Develop\n and maintain performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of\n architectural solutions.Training\n and Mentorship:
Mentor\n junior team members, providing technical guidance and support in system\n design and architecture.Facilitate\n training sessions to share knowledge and best practices within the\n organization.Document\n lessons learned and develop training materials to enhance team\n capabilities.This position is intended to\nconvey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials\nwhen the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or\nearly 2026.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s\n degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering,\n or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.5+\n years of experience in systems architecture, software development, or a\n related field.Strong\n knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and design\n patterns.Proficiency\n in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and development\n methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).Hands-on\n experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and\n microservices architecture.Excellent\n problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex\n architecture challenges.Strong\n communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with technical\n and non-technical stakeholders.BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL
