POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs all tasks associated with Inventory Control management. Works in laboratory and
warehouse environments under various temperatures including room temperature (15–25 Cº),
cold-room (2-8 Cº), and/or freezer-room (-20 to -23 º). Performs work of a highly repetitive nature.
Will walk, stand, reach, and lift between 15-80 lbs. on a continuous basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
*Coordinating all aspects of inventory management.
*Ensures that inventory levels are maintained accurately and efficiently to meet the demands of the business.
*Coordinate inventory audits, and implement inventory control procedures.
*Oversee the daily operations of the inventory department.
*Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring data integrity.
*Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as necessary to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
*Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
*Coordinate and conduct regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts.
*Measure inventory processes against industry standards and adopt effective approaches
*Train, and mentor inventory staff, providing guidance and support
*Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
*Regularly review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect industry standards.
*Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
*Apply inventory management software to streamline operations.
*Generate and analyze inventory reports to track trends and identify discrepancies.
*Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and issues.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
*Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production to ensure smooth inventory flow.
*Address and resolves any inventory-related issues promptly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
*High school diploma or GED
* Min 3 years of related experience
* Strong knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Office and PPI principles
*Forklift certification
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.76–$32.63.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
