Lead Instrument Commissioning Technician

Wood is currently looking for a Lead Instrument Commissioning Technician to join our System Integration (SI) team within out Digital Consulting business supporting across our UK projects. 

This is a hybrid role into the Aberdeen office, with an expectation that during outage it will be full time at the Kirriemuir site.   

The position can be on either a staff or contract basis.  

Applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role 

The Lead Instrument Commissioning Technician will support in safe execution of the instrument commissioning work scope in accordance with contract requirements, specifications and schedule. 

The selected individual will ensure applicable HSSE and Quality practices are implemented & followed and where applicable permits in place and associated toolbox talks etc are completed prior to commencement of work activities. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Instrument tech who possess good organisational skills and the ability to plan for safe work scope execution ensuring all applicable components associated with tasks are in place (e.g. procedures, permits, tools and equipment etc).
