We are looking for a seasoned Guidewire Portal QA Engineer with a strong background in testing web-based insurance applications, specifically on the Guidewire Digital/Portal framework. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of customer-facing applications through thorough manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on Guidewire Digital Portals (Customer/Agent/Producer).
Develop detailed test cases and execute manual and automated tests for portal functionalities.
Validate UI/UX, workflows, and integration between Guidewire Portals and core Claim/Policy/Billing Center systems.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with the development and product teams.
Conduct cross-browser and mobile device testing to ensure consistent performance.
Identify bugs and performance issues, and track them to resolution using defect management tools.
Support test automation initiatives for web applications using tools like Selenium.
Required Skills & Qualifications:7 to 10 years of QA experience, with minimum 2–3 years in Guidewire Digital Portals testing.
Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain and web-based applications.
Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, ALM, and automation tools like Selenium WebDriver.
Hands-on experience in testing REST/SOAP APIs, using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
Experience in cross-platform/browser testing and responsive design validation.
Knowledge of Guidewire Studio, JSON/XML, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a shift-based environment.
Willingness to work in 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift.
