Job Title: Guidewire Data Conversion QA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Data Conversion QA professional with strong experience in Guidewire implementations and data conversion testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data being migrated or converted within Guidewire modules. This role involves working closely with development, data conversion teams, and business analysts to ensure seamless data migration and adherence to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts focused on data conversion activities within Guidewire projects.

Perform detailed data validation and verification to ensure accuracy and completeness of converted data.

Collaborate with developers and data engineers to understand conversion mappings, transformations, and business logic.

Identify, log, and track defects related to data conversion issues; coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

Validate data conversions using SQL queries and tools like SSIS (if applicable) to verify ETL processes.

Participate in data profiling and data quality assessments during migration phases.

Assist in root cause analysis of data discrepancies and propose corrective actions.

Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Document test results, prepare status reports, and communicate issues and risks to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire platform, specifically in data conversion and migration testing.

Proven expertise in data validation and quality assurance for Guidewire implementations.

Ability to write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity.

Strong understanding of insurance domain data and Guidewire data structures.

Experience working in hybrid work environments and flexible shift timings (2 PM to 11 PM).

Good to Have:

Experience with data conversion using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar ETL tools.

Familiarity with automation tools for data validation testing.

Knowledge of scripting languages to support test automation.

Exposure to Guidewire testing frameworks and tools.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Relevant Guidewire certifications (advantageous).
