Senior Database Developer
Job Summary The Senior Database Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions while also contributing to web application development.
Working closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and cross-functional teams, this role supports both new feature development and the enhancement of existing SaaS financial services solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in SQL Server development, proficiency in T-SQL and SSIS, and a solid understanding of web technologies such as C# and .NET.
A proven background in Agile development and collaboration using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams is essential.
Basic Qualification Role/Position name: : Senior Software/ Database Developer
Experience Required: 7+ years of relevant Database and Web application development experience Education and Experience: '• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
• Experience in writing, debugging and optimizing SQL code.
• High level of proficiency in database design fundamentals.
• Strong problem solving, T-SQL, SSIS packages and debugging skills. • Experienced with source control applications (GIT)
• Knowledge of C# and .Net web technologies.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven, pro-active.'

'Other specific expectations for this role: - Required to be on stand by on monthly production releases that occur on Saturdays, ensuring smooth deployment
Specific Hardware /Software requirements: -Windows laptop with latest software - Scanners (shared devices) Standard overlap hours with onsite: EST 8 am - 11 am, CST 7 am - 10 am
- Availability to assist with production support during off-hours on an as-needed basis.
-An extended overlap in working hours is preferred during the first three months to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Longer overlap may occur on Sprint Ceremony days within the 2-week sprint cycle.'
