Job Summary

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in LoadRunner, Dynatrace, and AWS cloud services to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical and analytical skills to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of applications in complex environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Performance Testing & Engineering Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner for various applications. Perform load, stress, soak, and spike testing to evaluate system performance under different scenarios. Analyze test results and provide comprehensive performance reports with actionable recommendations. Monitoring & Diagnostics Use Dynatrace to monitor application performance and diagnose performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and suggest performance improvements. Cloud & Infrastructure Work with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and Lambda for performance test setup and monitoring. Utilize CloudWatch and custom scripts for performance metric collection and analysis. Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain automation scripts using scripting languages like C, Python, or Bash to support performance testing and monitoring. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Development teams during the software development lifecycle to ensure performance requirements are met. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, execution logs, and performance reports. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of experience in performance testing with LoadRunner (designing scripts, executing tests, and analyzing results). Strong expertise with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and diagnostics. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc. Basic to intermediate Linux administration skills, including shell scripting, system monitoring, and file management. Proficiency in scripting languages like C, Python, or Bash. Strong understanding of system architecture, cloud computing concepts, and networking fundamentals. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with other performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, NeoLoad). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance testing into DevOps workflows. Experience with database performance tuning and SQL query optimization. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes. Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk. ISTQB or other performance testing certifications.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
