Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, Data Modeling, SQL, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud data warehousing concepts and experience designing and implementing data pipelines and models that drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data models on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

Develop robust SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Implement and maintain data pipelines and integrations using JavaScript and SQL within Snowflake.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, BI developers, and product teams.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data solutions.

Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of data issues in Snowflake.

Follow best practices in data modeling (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) and data architecture.

Required Skills:

8–12 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake including performance tuning, data sharing, and advanced features.

Expertise in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical), including dimensional modeling.

Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization, indexing).

Working knowledge of JavaScript for scripting within Snowflake (e.g., stored procedures, UDFs).

Solid understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data lake architecture.

Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
