We are looking for a seasoned Java & Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and transformation of core systems. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise in Core Java and Python, with optional frontend exposure to Angular. The role involves working on modernizing legacy processes, enabling technology-led transformation, and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deliver generation workflows and case creation processes.
Migrate existing legacy scenarios/processes into strategic, modern architectures.
Translate business requirements and design documents into reliable, maintainable code.
Guide and coach junior developers to enhance team performance and output.
Collaborate with leadership to drive technology modernization and innovation.
Use DevOps practices to automate application testing and deployment.
Proactively stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.
Leverage Agile methodologies and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) techniques.
Required Skills & Experience:7+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and Python development.
Development experience with Angular (preferred but not mandatory).
Proficient in data analysis, data profiling, and data lineage techniques.
Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., SOA, layered architecture).
Familiarity with Agile and BDD methodologies.
Working knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Gradle, and Autosys.
Experience in UI/UX development is a plus.
Familiarity with JIRA and Continuous Deployment Pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Nice to Have:Experience in Financial Crimes platforms such as Actimize.
Domain experience in Financial Services or Financial Crime Technology.
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Certifications in Big Data or Java technologies.
Exposure to Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics.
Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead within a team environment.

Job Description – Java Dev & Python Angular would be a plus.
