We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design and build robust, scalable, and secure backend services for enterprise-level applications. The role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of backend architecture, and the ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java.
Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend components and third-party systems.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Work on large-scale enterprise systems with complex business logic and data handling.
Participate in Agile development practices – sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.
Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly across environments.
Contribute to continuous improvement of software engineering standards and practices.
Required Skills & Experience:7–10 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java (Java 8/11/17).
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of Microservices architecture.
In-depth knowledge of multithreading, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Proficient with Git and version control best practices.
Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain is highly desirable.
