Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient database solutions using Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and MongoDB.

Optimize SQL and NoSQL queries, manage data integrity, and ensure high performance and availability of databases.

Collaborate with application developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to support data modeling, integration, and application performance.

Conduct database troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, and version upgrades.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database architecture, data flows, structures, and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Relational Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

In-depth knowledge and practical experience in MongoDB: schema design, deployment, and performance tuning.

Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and query optimization.

Familiarity with database monitoring, performance diagnostics, and backup/recovery strategies.

Good to Have:

Working knowledge of Java, particularly in the context of integrating with backend databases and services.

Exposure to cloud-based database environments or services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, MongoDB Atlas).

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and scripting for automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
