We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Fixed Income and FX Client Connectivity team. The role involves improving the development environment and optimizing the product’s entire lifecycle—from build and testing to deployment and monitoring. You will play a key role in designing and developing infrastructure to support client connectivity systems and influence future technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain tools and automation solutions to streamline SDLC steps, improving team efficiency.
Enhance the development environment with automation, performance tuning, and infrastructure improvements.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks to support CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage.
Develop and manage comprehensive test suites to ensure product stability and performance.
Optimize and innovate build systems, reduce build and deployment times, and improve release reliability.
Support mission-critical applications with timely issue resolution, monitoring, and system parameter tuning.
Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for seamless DevOps integration.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
7–15 years of professional experience in a software development or DevOps capacity.
Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of SDLC concepts and processes.
Expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems for troubleshooting, system tuning, and scripting.
Hands-on experience with Python, Perl, or Shell scripting in Unix/Linux environments.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated experience supporting mission-critical systems.
Preferred/Desired Skills:Experience in electronic trading environments (Fixed Income, FX, or Equities).
Hands-on experience with the FIX protocol, including common fields and real-time use cases.
Exposure to low latency, high throughput, and high availability trading systems.
Understanding of financial asset classes and trading lifecycle.
Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, UDP, and data flow mechanisms.
