Role Proficiency:

Act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Implementation Specialist to lead and support end-to-end implementation, optimization, and support of IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and practical experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules, licensing models, asset lifecycle, and integrations. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Implementation & Configuration • Lead and deliver full-cycle implementations of ServiceNow ITAM, including HAM and SAM Professional modules. • Configure and customize ITAM-related features such as: o Asset lifecycle workflows o Normalization o Reconciliation o License models o Entitlements and software discovery • Design and implement automation for asset onboarding, provisioning, tracking, and disposal. Process Design & Optimization • Collaborate with stakeholders to define asset management policies, processes, and KPIs. • Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and user stories for configuration/customization. • Develop workflows and rules that support automated asset lifecycle management and software compliance. Integration & Data Management • Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with external systems such as: o Discovery tools (e.g., SCCM, Tanium, JAMF) o Procurement and vendor systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) o CMDB and Discovery (ITOM integration) • Ensure high data quality through validation, normalization, and reconciliation strategies. • Define and enforce standards for data governance, asset reconciliation, and de-duplication. Governance & Compliance • Implement controls to manage software license compliance and reduce over- or under-licensing. • Monitor and report on compliance position, software usage, and entitlements. • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Oracle). Stakeholder Collaboration & Training • Work closely with: o Asset Managers o Procurement o Security o IT Operations o Finance teams • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal ITAM and platform teams. • Deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions.
