Mandatory Skills

Consuming and Building RESTful APIs: Solid experience in designing, consuming, and optimizing RESTful APIs.

Strong Grasp of HTTP, JSON, XML: Proficiency with HTTP protocols, JSON, XML formats, headers, and status codes.

Authentication and Security: Experience with OAuth2, JWT, API keys, rate limits, and other authentication/security protocols for API communication.

API Management Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Kong, AWS API Gateway, or similar API management platforms.

Nice to Have Skills

Java Development: Experience with Java programming is beneficial but not mandatory.

Experience Range: Mid-Senior Level (5-7 years of relevant experience).

AWS Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, with a particular focus on API Gateway, Lambda, and other cloud-based services.
