We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BODS Data Engineer with a strong background in ETL development and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and a solid understanding of data integration and warehousing principles. This role involves designing and developing scalable ETL solutions to support our data-driven initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement robust ETL solutions using SAP BODS.
Build and maintain data integration workflows that ensure high performance and scalability.
Develop SAP BODS jobs, data flows, and scripts to support complex business requirements.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various structured and unstructured sources.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
Monitor, debug, and tune ETL jobs for performance and reliability.
Document technical solutions, processes, and workflows clearly and concisely.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all ETL pipelines.
Required Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS ETL development.
Strong proficiency in SAP BODS job design, data flow creation, scripting, and debugging.
Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data integration techniques, and data warehousing principles.
Proven experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
Strong SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and transformation.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
