Job Title: SAP Costing, Finance Functional Consultant

Experience: 8 to 12 Years

Mandatory Skills: SAP SAC Reporting, SAP Costing, SAP Finance, SAP S/4 HANA

Business Process / Functional Knowledge:

Strong functional knowledge in Costing & Finance. Deep understanding of inventory sub-ledger, snapshot, standard cost, production orders, variance, internal orders, devaluation, and product costing. Expertise in financial reporting using SAC.

Technical Skills – SAC Reporting:

Proficiency in different types of connections (Live, Data Import, etc.). Hands-on experience in creating various types of SAC stories and reports. Strong knowledge of responsive and canvas layouts. Experience in drill-down reports. Experience with S/4 HANA integration using both live and data import methods. Proficiency in data discovery, geospatial charts, and tables. Experience in interactive dashboard design.

Nice to Have:

Experience in Web Intelligence on SAP HANA Universe.

Development Standards / Process:

Prepare functional and technical designs in compliance with project standards and processes. Develop applications following project specifications. Prepare test cases and test data based on functional design documents. Perform thorough testing of developed reports. Ability to estimate development efforts and prepare test data.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Implement and support SAP Costing. Analyze complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions. Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements. Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives to SAP functionalities. Design, customize, configure, and test the Costing module. Identify gaps, issues, and workarounds. Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting and issue resolution. Manage emergency transports for high-priority issues. Document functional designs, test cases, and results. Proactively identify and propose process or system enhancements. Support both new implementations and existing projects. Act as a bridge between business functions and the technical team. Provide ad-hoc training and user support. Work independently and mentor junior team members.
