Job Title: Salesforce Developer

 

Overall Experience:

Total IT experience: 5–6 years Salesforce-specific development experience: 3–4 years in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning/LWC, and Salesforce platform tools Hands-on expertise in Salesforce administration, customization, and implementation

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop scalable and optimized applications on Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura & LWC). Configure and manage Salesforce Flows, Apex Managed Sharing, validation rules, and automation tools. Design and implement integrations using SOAP/REST APIs, Platform Events, Bulk API, and Metadata API. Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, and templates. Build and maintain reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. Perform data migration using tools like Data Loader, Informatica, Boomi, or MuleSoft. Collaborate with onsite (US-based) Salesforce teams for knowledge transition and cross-functional communication. Execute CI/CD-based deployments using tools such as Copado, GitHub, GitLab, Bamboo, ANT, or Change Sets. Participate in unit testing and follow best practices for positive/negative code coverage scenarios. Support and perform Salesforce admin activities such as user/role/profile setup, permissions, and security controls.

 

Required Skills & Tools:

Development: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Triggers, SOQL, JavaScript Tools: Visual Studio Code, Salesforce DX (SFDX), Data Loader Integration: Experience with SOAP, REST, OAuth, WSDL, SSL, Platform Events, Bulk API Admin/Configuration: App Builder, Flow, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Reports & Dashboards CI/CD & Deployment: Copado, GitHub, GitLab, Bamboo, ANT, Change Sets Databases: Basic understanding of SQL/PL-SQL, schema design, stored procedures (a plus) Salesforce Clouds: Sales, Service, and Community Cloud
