Lead II - Engineering Design (UX Designer)

Job Description : UX Designer As a UX Designer at Carelon, you will be responsible for driving the user experience strategy
and design across multiple projects. You will collaborate closely with product managers,
developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of top-tier digital experiences. Your
expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design will be crucial in
creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces.

Primary Skills : Lead UX Design: Take ownership of the UX design process, from concept to final implementation, ensuring the highest standards of design quality.

User Research: Conduct and analyse user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, and translate insights into actionable design solutions.

Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. 

Visual Design: Work closely with UI designers to ensure the final product aligns with the overall visual design strategy and brand guidelines.

Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design choices and iteratively improve the user experience.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure a unified design approach. 

 

Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital products.

Stakeholder Communication: Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders based on solid user-cantered design principles and data-driven insights. 

Secondary Skills : Experience : 5+ years in UX Design At least 2 years in the healthcare or insurance domain (Preferred) Tools Proficiency : Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite Optional: familiarity with prototyping and testing tools Knowledge : Accessibility standards (WCAG, HIPAA compliance) Agile methodology exposure 

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field Portfolio : Should include web and/or mobile application projects Demonstrate solving complex user workflows
