Job Summary:

We are seeking a self-motivated Infrastructure Automation Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in managing and automating cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Linux systems, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Python scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tools. The role involves managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, ensuring infrastructure security, and optimizing performance across distributed cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools like Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, and Terraform

Administer and optimize Linux-based servers (Ubuntu preferred)

Manage deployments on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms

Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes with Helm packaging

Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven

Manage messaging and web services such as RabbitMQ, Nginx, and databases including MySQL, Redis, and NoSQL systems

Handle load balancing and high availability in clustered environments

Ensure security, monitoring, and performance tuning of infrastructure

Troubleshoot networking and system issues in complex, distributed systems

Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements and infrastructure requirements

Drive best practices in cloud infrastructure management, deployment automation, and release engineering

Responsible for UST Smart Ops packaging and deployment in customer AWS environments

Required Skills & Experience:

7–10 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and cloud environments

Expertise in Linux (Ubuntu) systems administration and scripting (Python, Shell, Perl)

Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms

Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven

Good knowledge of networking, load balancing, and distributed systems

Hands-on experience with Ansible, Nginx, RabbitMQ, MySQL, Redis, and NoSQL databases

Experience with monitoring, security, and configuration management best practices

Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization skills
