UST is seeking a highly experienced and collaborative Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with a strong background in enterprise migration, cloud platform adoption, and Agile product development. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery—translating strategic goals into actionable features while guiding cross-functional teams toward successful implementation. Ideal candidates bring domain expertise, strong analytical skills, and proven experience in stakeholder engagement across complex, large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis & Strategy:Analyze complex business problems, identify opportunities for transformation, and recommend innovative solutions.
Act as the SME for business requirements and enterprise objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and release planning.
Create current and future state process models, use cases, and user stories.
Product Ownership:Own the product backlog, prioritize features, and align product capabilities with business strategies.
Work closely with development teams to ensure proper understanding and implementation of requirements.
Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and reviews to ensure delivery of business value.
Evangelize the product vision across business units and promote product adoption.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including C-level leaders, SMEs, developers, QA, and clients.
Lead requirement elicitation through interviews, workshops, surveys, and documentation reviews.
Actively engage stakeholders in defining KPIs, success metrics, and change management strategies.
Solution Design & Evaluation:Define and validate solution options in alignment with desired business outcomes.
Contribute to software quality attributes, non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and process improvements.
Mentoring & Community Development:Guide junior Business Analysts and foster a knowledge-sharing culture.
Lead training sessions, workshops, and contribute to the BA Center of Excellence.
Develop tools, templates, and best practices for use across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:10+ years of experience in business analysis and/or product ownership roles.
Proven success in enterprise-scale digital transformation and migration projects.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies; certification preferred.
Proficient in creating and managing user stories, product roadmaps, and release planning.
Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and data analysis platforms.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience in cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Experience in financial services, credit risk, or regulated industries is a strong advantage.
Preferred Skills:Experience working in globally distributed teams.
Expertise in business process modeling (BPMN/UML), root cause analysis, and stakeholder mapping.
Ability to conduct impact assessments, develop KPIs, and lead solution evaluations.
Exposure to product evaluation, competitive benchmarking, and market research techniques.
