Lead I - Technical Business Analysis

Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Trivandrum, Kochi, Chennai

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in platform migration and cloud adoption. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in business analysis, technical support, and exposure to both traditional and emerging technologies. Experience working with cloud environments—especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—and familiarity with the financial services or credit risk industry would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather detailed knowledge of current and new platform systems.

Organize and document information to create a centralized Knowledge Base and FAQs.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to support platform migration and adoption.

Set up and configure new customer environments in line with standard processes and policies.

Develop a solid understanding of both business and IT processes.

Create and maintain internal documentation to support customer solutions.

Assist in the continuous improvement of IT-related processes and procedures.

Participate in project and triage meetings; support project teams as required.

Track and share lessons learned to promote continuous team improvement.

Act as the first-level support for customer migration issues and inquiries.

Facilitate effective communication to resolve team conflicts and ensure understanding across stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Technical Support, Business Analysis, or Business Systems Design role.

Strong understanding of SDLC and awareness of cloud technologies.

Hands-on experience with application and distributed system technology projects.

Exposure to XML, JSON, REST APIs, and Web Services.

Experience analyzing and documenting techno-functional aspects of platforms and systems.

Familiarity with at least one cloud or software development technology (GCP preferred).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Experience in IT L1 support or similar (minimum 1 year) is a plus.

Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks.

Desirable:

Previous experience in the financial services or credit risk domain.

Demonstrated experience supporting platform transitions in enterprise environments.
