This role involves validating data accuracy, testing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity across systems, with a strong focus on analytical and problem-solving capabilities.________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs. • Perform functional, regression, and data validation testing on ETL processes and BI solutions. • Analyze large datasets to verify transformations, identify anomalies, and ensure data consistency across systems. • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test coverage. • Validate data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to ensure compliance with data quality standards. • Prepare and maintain clear test documentation including defect logs, test results, and issue tracking. • Contribute to root cause analysis and help drive resolution of data quality or integrity issues. • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by assisting users in validating business scenarios and reporting issues. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years focused on data testing or validation. • Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation across relational databases. • Experience with data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus. • Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehouses, and cloud-based data environments (GCP preferred). • Solid understanding of data quality principles, test case design, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate with technical teams.
