We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Big Data Testing Engineer to validate large-scale data pipelines and ensure data integrity across big data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, Hive, and Amazon Redshift, and be capable of designing and executing comprehensive test strategies for complex data environments. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement test plans and test cases for big data applications and ETL pipelines. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across large datasets. Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations and aggregations. Test data ingestion and processing workflows in Hive and Redshift environments. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure accuracy. Identify data anomalies and work with development teams to resolve issues. Automate data validation processes where applicable. Required Skills: Big Data Testing: Strong understanding of big data ecosystems and testing methodologies. SQL: Advanced SQL skills for data validation, profiling, and transformation testing. Hive: Experience with HiveQL and Hadoop-based data processing.
