Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and Java to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance across our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

Write and execute test cases, and analyze results to ensure software meets business and functional requirements.

Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business stakeholders to understand application features and architecture.

Identify, log, and track software bugs and issues to resolution using bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar.

Perform regression testing and ensure high test coverage across application components.

Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

Provide regular test status updates, documentation, and contribute to overall quality initiatives.

Required Skills:

4+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and core Java.

Hands-on experience with frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber (BDD).

Experience working with version control systems like Git.

Experience in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus.

Knowledge of build tools like Maven/Gradle and continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
