Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically proficient and passionate Python QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic eFX technology team. This role focuses on building and enhancing robust test automation frameworks and contributing to a low-latency trading platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for the eFX trading platform.

Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand functional and technical requirements.

Enhance and maintain test frameworks supporting quote generation, distribution, order acceptance, booking, and monitoring.

Promote best practices in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and continuous integration.

Participate actively in architectural discussions and peer code reviews.

Lead and support various stages of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Python development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.

Experience working with relational and time-series databases.

Comfortable developing and testing on Linux platforms.

Proven experience collaborating in global teams with complex codebases.

Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver results.

Experience in Agile methodologies and TDD (Test-Driven Development).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

Experience with low-latency eTrading systems, ideally in FX.

Familiarity with FIX protocol, particularly around quoting mechanisms.

Knowledge of KDB/Q and its use in time-series data analysis.
