We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, specifically with Playwright and API testing, along with excellent communication and SQL skills. Experience with cloud testing preferbaly in AWS is a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Playwright automation frameworks. • Candidate should be proficient in BDD testing. • Create and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs, ensuring full test coverage. • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality product releases. • Identify, report, and track bugs; perform root cause analysis for complex issues. • Develop test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior QA engineers. • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices. • Utilize SQL to validate backend data and ensure data integrity. • Leverage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for test execution and infrastructure support (if applicable). Required Skills and Experience: • 5–7 years of total experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation. • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright in designing and executing automation scripts. • At least 3 years of experience in API test automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar. • Strong SQL skills for data validation and back-end testing. • Excellent communication skills—able to collaborate effectively across teams. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins). • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. • Proactive attitude and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
